Summary of Duties:
Our Sales Associates are responsible for engaging customers in conversation to understand their needs and objections; presenting merchandise and detailed information on features and benefits; offering financing options; and meeting individual and team sales goals. We value integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities and Duties (but not limited to):

• Guide customers through selection and purchase process.

• Provide exceptional customer sales service before, during and after the sale.

• Educate customers about diamonds and jewelry.

• Ensure proper presentation, organization, storing and replenishment of stock.

• Support other Retail Sales Associates.

• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and outgoing personality.

• Professional appearance and presentation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Exhibit professional sales associate characteristics, attitude, and behaviors at all times.

• Maintain the brand image of Diamond Exchange Jewelers, while providing outstanding customer service.

• Assist with store merchandising, visual presentation, and be responsible for the cleanliness and professional appearance of your station.

• Be able to provide exceptional customer service throughout the client’s shopping experience.

• Be able to respond to all customer inquiries through continuous education of merchandise offered by Diamond Exchange Jewelers.

• At all times, ensure compliance with company loss prevention guidelines.

• Estimate repairs and inspect/clean customers’ jewelry.

• Perform watch battery replacements and band adjustments.

• Suggest designs for custom jewelry.

• Follow receiving and processing procedures.

• Maintain overstock/understock conditions to retain ordering system integrity.

• Ability to pass drug test.

• Maintain confidentiality.

• Accuracy/attention to detail.

• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects.

• Knowledge of Diamond Exchange Jewelers policies, procedures and Ensure adherence to company retail operating and security procedures.

• Provides customer service assistance with repairs, layaways and payment plans.

• Cleans shelves, counters, tables, vacuum, glass and other housekeeping as required.

• Maintains excellent job knowledge of the processes, products, systems, compliance and company information, as well as, continual professional development.

• Retail Sales Associates will report to the Store Manager.

• Open schedule availability.

• Store Hours 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday – Saturday (Extended Seasonal hours and Seasonal Sunday hours).
