    AccuForce has been retained to recruit a Legal Assistant by one of our premier local clients. This is an opportunity to join a prestigious and highly reputable law firm in the Tri-Cities area.     Scope of the Position

    The Legal Assistant will provide on-location, high-level administrative support to attorneys and participate in occasional duties that would include light paralegal work. The successful candidate will report directly to the Firm Administrator and their attorneys and maintain an organized, efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal assistant support to attorneys on litigation matters.
    • Assist in routing, tracking, and filing legal documents, correspondence, and third-party inquiries (including subpoenas).
    • Maintain client matter management, contract, and filing databases.
    • Organize and archive digital and physical company records in accordance with records management policies.
    • Assist Senior Counsel with administrative tasks related to budgeting, processing legal invoices, and tracking expenses.
    • Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel for the legal team.
    • Handle confidential information with strict discretion.
    • Interact and communicate professionally with internal employees and external vendors.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline office administration and procedural workflows.

    Experience, Competencies, and Education:

    • High School Diploma / GED Required
    • 2–4 years of experience performing administrative or general office duties, with experience in an in-house legal department or law firm strongly preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
    • High ethical standards, strong problem-solving skills, and a high level of discretion.
    • Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated commitment to company values, policies, procedures, and controls.

    Language and Computer Skills:

    • Strong command of the English language in both written and verbal communication.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong keyboarding / typing skills
    Pay: Starting at $18/hour (based on experience)
