Environmental Specialist
Posted: 06/05/2026ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensure the accurate submission of all required federal, state, and local environmental permits and related reports, including Title V, RCRA, DOT, and stormwater management requirements.
- Collect, maintain, and organize regulatory compliance records.
- Maintain throughput emissions data within the Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Monitor and evaluate pending legislation and regulatory changes to determine potential impacts on the company.
- Manage the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP).
- Assist the EHS Department with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) reviews for new materials.
- Coordinate hazardous waste pickups and maintain all required manifest documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Competencies, and Education- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Two (2) or more years of manufacturing environmental compliance preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position requires the employee to perform the following physical activities, with or without reasonable accommodation:- Occasional lifting, climbing, and stooping.
- Walking and standing for extended periods.
WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position requires the employee to work effectively in an environment that includes:- Office settings.
- Manufacturing facilities.
- Exposure to resins, fiberglass, and other chemicals.
