Description
Are you an independent filmmaker? Do you enjoy watching movies?
Whatever your stance may be, State Theatre Company is proud to present its 1st Annual Independent Film Festival, Model City Film Fest! The Model City Film Fest aims to facilitate, expose, and celebrate the works of independent filmmakers in all genres. MCFF hopes to engage Kingsport (and the greater Tri-Cities area) in a weekend full of screenings, panel discussions/coffee talks with filmmakers, concluding with an awards ceremony to highlight the best works of the festival.

However, if you are an avid movie-goer, we need your help, too! Festival Audiences will be encouraged to help us decide one of our awards, the "Audience Choice" award. We invite you to join us on the weekend of August 4th - 6th in celebrating the many different styles of independent filmmaking!
