Description
Coppelia is a ballet classic with a charming, comic story line. It is set in an old world village during harvest time. The beautiful Coppelia sits on her balcony all day reading. She is, in fact, not a girl at all, but a very realistic life-sized doll lovingly created by the eccentric toy maker, Dr. Coppelius. Not realizing Coppelia is not human, a local boy named Franz falls deeply in love with her and wants to marry her, even though he is already engaged to another girl! The plot thickens when his betrothed, Swanhilda, sneaks into the toymaker's shop and discovers the truth.
