Description
The Downtown Kingsport Association will be hosting "Busking Around the World" on July 15th, an event to promote local performers such as musicians, dancers, artists, and craftsmen. Furthermore, this event encourages the opportunity to educate and embrace diversity through a multi-cultural component.
The idea and history of "Busking" represents the age old tradition of street performing, where various forms of entertainers would perform for voluntary tips on corners and sidewalks in downtown areas.
