Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society & Museum and NC Transportation Museum will be co-sponsoring their October 2016 AUTUMN TRAIN EXCURSION Sun Oct 30, 2016 - "Georgia Autumn Special" from Spencer, NC and Spartanburg, SC to Toccoa, GA Nestled into the foothills of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, the historic town of Toccoa will be bustling with activity during the 40th annual Harvest Festival. Passengers will have approximately three hours to enjoy this annual festival and can take continuous shuttle buses to beautiful Toccoa Falls.
