Seniors Helping Seniors® Tri-Cities is hiring compassionate caregivers to help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home throughout the Kingsport area.
This is meaningful one-on-one work with flexible scheduling. Many of our caregivers are mature adults, retirees, second-career professionals, or people whose experience caring for a parent, spouse, friend, or neighbor has shown them how much a helping hand can matter.

What You’ll Do
Care needs vary by client, but responsibilities may include:
- Companionship and conversation
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and outings
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Medication reminders and support with daily routines
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s support
- Helping seniors stay safe and independent at home
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you are dependable, patient, compassionate, and comfortable working independently. Applicants must:
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Be willing and able to travel to clients’ homes
- Pass required background screening
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Communicate effectively with clients and our local care team
Professional caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required. Experience caring for someone in your own life can be valuable too.
Work Close to Home
This opening focuses on caregivers in and around Kingsport, including Church Hill, Mount Carmel, Colonial Heights, and Fall Branch. We work to match caregivers with clients based on location, availability, personality, and care needs.
