The Senior Social - Sneaker Soiree

Description

Healthy Kingsport will host its take on a senior prom in Downtown Kingsport.

A Senior Social event that will bring the nostalgia to adults 50 and up. This fun-filled night will include “chaperones”, music, dancing, food and a photo booth.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up and wear your best sneakers. Awards will be given out in the following categories: Coolest Sneakers, Flashiest Sneakers, Most Colorful Sneakers, and Most Unique Sneakers. 2 awards will be given for the Best Overall Sneakers who will be named “King & Queen” and will have the opportunity to ride in the Christmas Parade through Downtown Kingsport.

Participating in social community events is the most effective way to improve your mental health. This event will foster a sense of community and provide an opportunity for social engagement, new friendships and cherished memories.

The Senior Social is presented by Holston Medical Group and Humana.
