Packing Inspection Position for Glass Plant

Elite Manufacturing and Professional Services hiring glass packers and glass inspectors Church Hill Location.

Client Facility:

• Work 12 hour rotating shifts, you will rotate between days and nights. You will be required to work every other weekend.
• GED or High School Diploma is required and must be presented prior to being hired.
• Excellent pay, starting pay rate is $18.00/hr.

Summary

As a Glass Packager or Inspector, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, utilizing core skills in manufacturing processes, basic math, and precision measuring instruments to ensure the quality and accuracy of glass products. Additionally, your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge, fabrication, and machining will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Package glass products according to specified requirements and quality standards.
• Operate packaging machinery efficiently and ensure proper labeling of products.
• Adhere to regulations and CGMP guidelines during the packaging process.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve packaging issues.
• Safely operate forklifts and hand tools in the warehouse for packaging tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline the packaging process and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging and manufacturing is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge for handling machinery
• Ability to use hand tools and operate forklifts
• Previous experience in assembly and warehouse environments
