Jennifer Pharr Davis is the owner and founder of Blue Ridge Hiking Company in Asheville, NC. In 2011, she became the first woman to set the Overall Appalachian Trail Record, completing the 2181-mile trek in just 46 days and averaging nearly 47 miles per day. This accomplishment was voted Ultrarunning Magazine's Female Performance of 2011 and earned Davis recognition as a 2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. Her latest book, Called Again, chronicles this remarkable journey, and her adventures have been featured in The New York Times and The Washington Post and on NPR's Talk of the Nation, CNN, and the CBS Early Show.
