The Red Present Project is a group focused on encouraging and hosting blood drives in honor of Phyllis Anderson Blevins. Ms. Blevins was a long-time blood donor and American Red Cross Volunteer. The Red Present Project was setup in order to continue the good work she did before her death in late November of last year. For this blood drive\, Victory Orthotics & Prosthetics and The Red Present Project have partnered together with Blood Assurance to help them meet the growing need for blood in our community. All of the blood donated will be distributed through Blood Assurance\, a regional blood center serving healthcare centers in Tennessee\, Georgia\, Alabama\, North Carolina\, and Virginia. The blood drive is to be held on Friday\, January 27\, at the Bristol branch of Victory Orthotics and Prosthetics\, which is located at 324 Steeles Rd\, Bristol\, TN. Anyone who wants to donate is welcome to attend\, between 10am - 3pm\, and will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Appointments can be made by email\, and will take priority over walk-ins.
