DESCRIPTION:The Lighting of the Tunnel gives guests the unique opportunity to get a look at the natural tunnel after dark. The gorge is lit with flood lights which provides a dramatic and beautiful presentation of the geographical wonder itself. Concessions\, campfires\, and live music are available on the observation deck at the mouth of the Tunnel. The Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail will have historical interpreters at the nearby Carter Cabin\, the oldest structure in Scott County\, Virginia. Many Natural Tunnel State Park programs are sponsored by the Cove Ridge Center Foundation and Advisory Board.
