During her 20 years with Rutgers\, Lavinia spent six years in front-line fundraising in the second-largest academic unit at the university\, and the past fourteen years managing and directing the growth of major gifts for the Rutgers University Foundation. As a member of the foundation's senior staff\, Lavinia played an integral role in planning the university's comprehensive $1 billion campaign. Prior to joining Rutgers\, Lavinia worked in development for various organizations in Washington\, D.C.\, and in New Jersey. Lavinia holds a B.A. in political science from Drew University.
