This event is a fundraiser to support ongoing program needs at the school. In addition to raising funds\, the Walk-a-thon promotes health and wellness in a fun and exciting way. Money raised from Claws for the Cause EPIC Walk-a-thon has funded many Ridgeview past projects including:\n\n-Playground equipment \n\n-Basketball and volleyball courts \n\n- Scholastic Readers for each student \n\n- Funds to support the advanced reading program \n\n- Funds for the school nurse and guidance counselor \n\n- Funds for the music and arts programs \n\n- Benches in the front of the school
