DESCRIPTION:This is an exciting year for us as we prepare to host our 1st annual Cherished Mom gala during May\, maternal mental health month! With postpartum mood and anxiety disorders being the number one complication of childbirth\, Cherished Mom is dedicated to changing the knowledge landscape of perinatal mental health. We want moms to see the value of their self care and how to put it into practice as a new parent. We are asking you to get involved\, attend and/or sponsor our 1st annual gala\, the Blue Jean Ball.\n\nThe Blue Jean Ball is here for its first year of celebration with some delicious food\, entertainment and fun! As our largest planned fundraiser\, the Ball will help secure the much needed funds to run our programs to raise awareness and educate new moms and families surrounding perinatal mood and anxiety disorders\, like postpartum depression\, in Northeast Tennessee. With your support and sponsorship\, we can provide free self-care boxes to new moms after they receive much needed education.
