Kingsport's Social Event of the Year! Your Kingsport Chamber Annual Dinner is held on the first Friday of every February with an average of 1500, in attendance. This black tie optional affair is a great night to celebrate the wonderful community we live in and have a great time with friends and colleagues. The Kingsport Chamber also presents its very prestigious Kingsport Chamber Lifetime Member Award, an accolade that honors an individual for a lifetime of outstanding service to the Kingsport community. The "business" portion of the event, however, only takes a few brief minutes as the night is dedicated to the outstanding entertainment that is booked each year.

2011 Downtown Kingsport Free Concert Series! Nothing like good, free music to enjoy your hot summer nights! Both Bluegrass on Broad and Twilight Alive concerts will be kickoff at 7 p.m. every Thursday and Friday night from May to August. All concerts will be performed on the stage located on Broad Street in downtown Kingsport, Tenn. Feel free to bring lawn chairs - no coolers or pets please.

Encore Senior Leadership is a program designed for persons over age 50. ENCORE is an acronym for Enrich and Nurture our Community, Offer your Resources and Experience. It is founded on the belief that retirees can offer a wealth of knowledge, experience, leadership and vitality to their communities. The mission is to inform participants about the community and the opportunities for volunteer service.

Kingsport's popular summer festival - FUN FEST, draws thousands of fun-seekers and tourists for a week long celebration of community events, balloons, parades, contests and live concerts featuring today's most entertaining performers. This festival has been recognized as the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Event for the month of July since 2000.

Your Kingsport Chamber's Golf Scramble is an annual golf tournament held in the beginning of May. All proceeds benefit your Kingsport Chamber, Keep Kingsport Beautiful and Leadership Kingsport programs. Awards are given to the top three places in two flights in each round. Hole competitions include prizes for longest drive, most accurate drive, closest to the pin and any holes-in-one. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are also provided.

Government Relations program keeps members up-to-date on all legislation affecting their businesses. The Legislative Affairs Committee and the Chamber staff work with community leaders and elected officials on the local and state levels to address key issues that directly affect Kingsport's business climate.Kingsport's positive business climate is one of the city's greatest strengths and is an integral part of attracting new business and investment to the regions.

Keep Kingsport Beautiful, a joint partnership between the Kingsport Chamber and the city of Kingsport, is an award-winning affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. Its mission is to involve the community in responsible solutions for a clean and beautiful environment.

Hosted by the Chamber's Bob Feagins and Laura Steel with Hunter, Smith & Davis – This is an award-winning Kingsport television show that features Kingsport Chamber members as well as, highlighting new and exciting events and developments happening in the Kingsport community and region.

The Kingsport Convention and Visitors Bureau (KCVB) serves as a tourism and information bureau and works to promote Kingsport as a place to visit and as a preferred destination for conferences, conventions, sports events and leisure travelers. The KCVB strives to be the King of Hospitality for all visitors coming to our area.

In a joint effort with the city of Kingsport and the Kingsport Chamber, the Small Business Development & Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) is a non-profit economic development organization, to specifically nurture, counsel and encourage the continued robust growth and development of startups and existing small businesses in Kingsport.

Leadership Kingsport is a program of the Kingsport Chamber as well as a national program designed to develop community leaders or "trustee" who will take an active and leadership role in various community activities. The selected class meets once per month, September through May. This program is for persons who have demonstrated leadership ability from diverse backgrounds who are interested in serving their community.

Move To Kingsport is the official relocation program supported by the Kingsport Chamber, in partnership with the city of Kingsport, and Kingsport-Times News that facilitates the relocation and naturalization of new residents. The official relocation guide markets Kingsport's quality of life all around the country and features a personal ambassador program.

Each year since 1943 on the weekend before Thanksgiving, the Santa Train has departed from Kingsport, Tenn., arriving in the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky to bring Santa back to Kingsport. Santa arrives just in time to enter the first parade of the season kicking off the holiday shopping spree. The Santa Train is the world's largest Santa Parade, 110-miles, and is a joint effort of the Kingsport Tennessee Area Chamber of Commerce, CSX Transportation, Inc. (CSXT), based in Jacksonville, Fl., Food City, Kingsport, Tenn. and Kids Wish Network based in Holiday, Fl..

S.H.O.U.T! (Students Helping Others Understand Tomorrow) is a youth leadership program for area high school students. The mission is to develop, in an interactive environment, the leadership skills and community awareness of selected high school sophomores and juniors. Now with two summer programs, one week in June and one week in July.

The TN/VA Scholars program is a regional rewards and recognition program for high school students, sponsored by businesses and industry. TN/VA Scholars complete a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes "on level" and above courses. This program provides a vehicle for business, community and education representatives to work together and have impact on our area education.
