Hunter, Smith & Davis will present a half-day seminar in
Johnson City on November 29
Johnson City, Tenn.—The employment lawyers at Hunter, Smith & Davis will host their annual labor and employment law seminar November 29 at the Millennium Center in Johnson City. The seminar — The Employment Law Landscape at the Midterms — is open to local employers of all sizes who may want to learn more about recent developments and the always-changing aspects of employment law.
The seminar has been pre-approved by the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) for 4 hours’ credit and will address common employer concerns and questions involving Tennessee’s Workers’ Compensation Act, immigration issues, mental disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act, workplace harassment in an overheated environment, and other topics of importance to keep employers in compliance and out of court.
Breakfast and lunch are provided as a part of each attendee’s $40 registration fee. Discounts are offered for companies sending more than one employee.
