KINGSPORT, Tenn., August 5, 2022 – Harry Houdini, Criss Angel, David Blaine, and… Mama Goodin? Three of these are some of the greatest Escape Artists to ever have lived, and one of them better figure it out ASAP! The Goodin Family has embarked on yet another crazy business venture, but if they aren’t careful, then it might be their very last! Find out what is going on with their most recent escapade in the newest Foggy Valley Gang adventure to debut at LampLight Theatre in downtown Kingsport, TN, August 19- September 4.
The Goodin Family is always looking for the next great business idea. After visiting the Smokey Mountains and seeing many successful Escape Rooms, they decide to bring the fun to Foggy Valley by opening their very own Escape Room. Mama Goodin, matriarch and owner of the B.A. Gooding Funeral Parlor, Taxidermy, Wedding Chapel, and Tanning Beds, doesn’t trust her family and friends to be able to come up with puzzles for the Escape Room, so she has hired Pat Cipher, an Escape Room expert and consultant, to come help set up the room. While family friend, Clementine Hogg, and the Funeral Home’s preacher, Reverend Clyde T. Humperdink are initially insulted that Mama doesn’t trust any of them, they see her reasoning after Spoolie Goodin gives the resident taxidermist and crazy cat lady, Judy Miller, the job of purchasing the necessary props for the Escape Room. With the help of Wilfred Goodin and some other Foggy Valley friends, will the Goodins escape their own Escape Room? Or will they find that business is “booming?”
